TERREBONNE PARISH (WGNO) — The Bayou Dularge bridge in Terrebonne Parish is open for weekday rush hour traffic, according to the Department of Transportation and Development.

On Wednesday, July 16, DOTD officials said the bridge will be open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Construction work is still ongoing.

Marine traffic will be able to pass through the bridge during times when vehicles are not allowed.

The Company Canal Bridge was replaced by a new bridge June 30.

There are several out of order bridges in Terrebonne Parish that prompted the Parish President to declare a state of emergency. This is affecting residents’ evacuation plans for hurricanes.
