SPAR is looking for their next Baseball and Softball coaches

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – If you have a passion for sports and love working with children, SPAR is hoping you step up to the plate as they look for new softball and baseball coaches.

The volunteer position will work during the upcoming baseball and softball season.

All you need is a great attitude, the committment to making a difference and be at least 18 years old.

The department says volunteering can serve as an excellent opportunity for high school and college students to earn volunteer hours and add work to their resume.

SPAR Athletics’ mission is to provide quality athletic and leisure opportunities for all citizens through various sporting programs. To provide athletic and recreational programs with emphasis on having fun and learning basic skills.

If baseball and softball aren’t your thing, the website states volunteers are needed year round for many sports and activities.
