NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Did you happen to hear the loud objects flying over Uptown on Wednesday night that rattled homes and shook up neighbors?
Residents in the Uptown area said they heard what sounded like low-flying jets around 10 p.m.
Two mysterious objects flew over the Uptown homes and even shook and rattled houses as they flew overhead.
Some residents said it scared them because they aren’t used to hearing jets flying so low.
Other residents believed that the flying objects could’ve been coming from the U.S. Naval Base in Belle Chasse.
Some Uptown residents even posted on social media that they were “marked safe from the UFO’s.”
WGNO reached out to the Naval Base in Belle Chasse to ask them what they could tell us about the situation and they said they are looking into it and will be releasing a statement later on today.
