
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Deep Fried Advertising, a New Orleans-based advertising agency, is donating a free customized website for a local non-profit.
Deep Fried Advertising is giving back in a big way to celebrate its 20th anniversary with their “20 for 20” campaign.
They’re going to develop a customized website valued up to $20,000 for one local non-profit that is selected.
“What we see so much of is these non-profits have such high impact work, but they don’t have the budgets to tell their stories,” said Jennie Diemont, President of Deep Fried Advertising. “We really want to help a non-profit that could benefit from having their story told better through their website.”
She went on to say, “We want to help a non-profit that is really having challenges getting themselves out there. One thing we say in the industry is that your website is your hardest working employee, it is something that will work for you 24-7.”
Kevin Diemont is the Chief Operations Officer of Deep Fried Advertising and showed WGNO some of the components of building and marketing a website.
“For example, we created the website for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. They have a lot going on, so we built it with modular components. They have many programs behind the scenes that people don’t know about, so that was part of the website to tell the story. I think the information is very easy to find depending on what you want to learn and it is right in front of you,” Kevin Diemont said.
The deadline for non-profits to apply for their website giveaway is July 30th.
