NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A boil water advisory was issued for Venetian isles Monday, July 14.
According to the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, water pressure may have fallen below 20 psi while crews were performing routing flushing maintenance activities. Water pressure was restored to above 20 psi and water quality samplers will begin testing the water.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to use bottled or boiled tap water to drink, cook, clean food or brush teeth until further notice.
