
The initiative kicked off on July 31, 2025, with the annual “Pack the Bus” supply drive held outside Walmart on Airline Drive.
The Chamber called upon local businesses and community members to donate school supplies and monetary contributions, resulting in a record number of items collected this year with over a dozen businesses participating.
The Chamber prepared goodie bags filled with encouragement, supplies, and discounts to greet new teachers as they start their teaching careers.
On August 1, during the Bossier Schools’ annual new teacher orientation, Chamber representatives delivered these goodie bags to the new educators.
Through these efforts, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce aims to play a vital role in enriching the educational landscape of Bossier Parish, demonstrating its commitment to the region’s future workforce.
The Bossier Chamber has been dedicated to aiding the Bossier Parish School System through this annual school supply drive since 2019.
