The Bow Police Department has opened an investigation into a staff member after receiving a call from Bow High School on Thursday.
Police received a complaint from high school administration on the afternoon of May 7 involving a staff member and another adult.
Bow Police Chief Kenneth Miller said the case involves an adult who lives in another jurisdiction, and investigators currently have no reason to believe that any current or former Bow High School students are involved. Both individuals involved are adults.
Bow School Superintendent Marcy Kelley emailed parents and families of high school students, stating that once the matter came to light, the individual was removed from the building within the hour.
The incident remains under investigation and authorities say the public and students are facing no threat.
“We are working closely with school administration to ensure the continued safety of the community,” Miller wrote in a statement.
The name of the employee and the nature of the investigation were not released.
