DOJ to investigate northern Illinois schools over teaching of sexual orientation and gender ideology

The U.S. Department of Justice has launched civil rights investigations into 36 public school districts across Illinois, including several in northern Illinois, to determine whether they have included sexual orientation and gender ideology content in their curriculum and whether parents have been properly notified of their right to opt their children out of that instruction.
