Today Only: Get an Extra 20% Off Switch and PS5 Games in Woot's Spring Sale
It’s happening again, friends. Woot, the online retailer owned and operated by Amazon, is running a big sale on Switch, PS5, and Xbox games and hardware. There are some great deals in here. But today only, if you enter code GAMER20 at checkout, you’ll get an extra 20% off your entire purchase. This makes for some absolutely killer deals. You can view the whole sale here, or read on for our picks.
Real quick, a few things to note. The code is one-time use only, so make sure you add everything you want to your cart before checking out. The deal is capped out at a $50 discount, so do some math before you load up on hundreds of dollars worth of items ($50 is 20% of $250, for the math-averse). And make sure to check out before 11:58 p.m. CT (which is 9:59 p.m. PT and 12:58 a.m. ET), because that’s when the code turns into a pumpkin.
It’s also worth noting that stock is limited, and the most sought-after items will absolutely sell out. Many items have already sold out; you can see them if you scroll to the bottom of the page. So make your purchases sooner rather than later, because like life, the items in the sale (to say nothing of the sale overall) is fleeting.
What’s on sale? When it comes to games, it’s mostly Switch and PS5 games on sale. Tons of Switch games are on sale, including first-party titles like your various Zeldas and Marios, as well as third-party games like your Sonics and Square Enixes. A number of PS5 and even some Xbox games are in there as well, so you’ll likely find at least something that appeals, no matter which platform you prefer.
Lots of controllers and headsets and steering wheels and carrying cases are also included in the sale. Tons of 8BitDo controllers are on sale in particular, but there are a lot of them, and they’re pretty confusing. If you want one of those, you’ll want to do your research to make sure the controller you want works on the device you have.
I’ll leave it there. Happy deal hunting.
