Hoppers Is Now Available to Watch at Home

Hoppers is now available to rent or buy digitally on VOD platforms. There hasn’t been any confirmation of a Disney+ release date.

The move to digital comes just over six weeks after the film’s initial release in theaters. While Hoppers hasn’t necessarily hit the box office highs of Pixar sequels like Inside Out 2 and Zootopia 2, it is the highest grossing original Pixar movie since Coco. The animated film has been generally well-received by both critics and audiences, and spawned a legion of gifs across the internet. That’s a true testament to any film’s quality.

Where to Watch Hoppers Online

Hoppers is available to rent digitally for $24.99 or purchase for $29.99. Both options include a digital copy of the movie, either available for 24 hours or added to your library permanently. The digital version also comes with a range of extras, such as deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes with the voice cast.

We haven’t seen any announcement about a streaming release date, but Hoppers will definitely land on Disney+ at some point. Recent Pixar releases like Elio came to the serving service around three months after their initial release, which would place a streaming release date for Hoppers some time in June.

Director Daniel Chong is also the creator of the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears, where he worked alongside King George’s voice actor and SNL alum, Bobby Moynihan. While Chong has previously worked on animated films like Inside Out, this was his first time directing for Pixar.

As for what’s next for Pixar, we’re headed back to the land of sequels. And a particularly beloved one, at that. Toy Story 5 is slated to release in theaters on June 19, 2026. Other upcoming Pixar movies include an original film, Gatto, as well as The Incredibles 3 and Coco 2.

Steelbook Releasing June 2, No Preorders Yet

We haven’t seen any preorder listings for a DVD or Blu-ray, but we do know home video releases exist and, according to one Reddit user, will release on June 2. In the meantime, there’s a ridiculous amount of Hoppers merch out there.
