Last year, Hasbro debuted one of its most unusual and interesting Transformers collaborations ever with the Transformers x NFL series, which featured four new bots inspired by iconic NFL teams. That line proved popular enough that Hasbro is following it up with a second wave. But which teams made the cut this time?
IGN can exclusively reveal the second series of Transformers x NFL figures, which again transform from replica NFL helmets into fully articulated robots. Check them out in the slideshow gallery below:
Wave 2 includes three new characters – Minnesota Vikings Skolgrin, Buffalo Bills Blizz-Herd, and San Francisco 49ers Goldrush. Each figure measures 5.5 inches tall in robot mode and can transform in 23 steps. The figures come with accessories like a football and a mini, wearable NFL helmet.
“Teaming Transformers up with the NFL is an extremely exciting milestone as we explore strategic and innovative ways to grow the franchise,” said Tamara Grindrod, Global Play Leader, Action Brands at Hasbro in 2025. “Transformers continues to deliver a …MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE experience for fans through epic storytelling, toys and more. This latest collaboration is a great example of how we’re connecting new and passionate fanbases with our iconic characters.”
Each of these figures will be released in Summer 2026, with preorders for all three opening at 10am PT on the Hasbro Pulse website and other participating retailers.
Other recent Transformers figure reveals have included a new Optimus Prime and Megatron pair inspired by 1984’s Transformers: The Movie and the Stranger Things-themed Freakwency and 8-Trax set.
