The library lets software teams build single-code applications for both platforms, aiming to reduce development complexity and speed time to market while maintaining consistent UI/UX patterns. The project expands on prior support for web-based apps across Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Vizio and Hisense VIDAA devices.
“Standardized and open-source technologies help broadcasters save time and costs while developing cross-platform streaming apps, where OS fragmentation and multiple app stores remain a challenge,” Ajey Anand, Norigin Media CEO, said. “CTV app development is complicated, and our remote-control and key-navigation solution helps simplify these challenges while enabling consistent UI/UX. As platforms like Apple TV, Roku, Samsung Tizen and others continue to evolve, we are delivering tools that support efficient OTT application development.”
Norigin said the React Native library supports improved accessibility and navigation patterns across devices and is already in use by broadcasters and OTT providers building in-house smart TV and game-console apps.

Norigin Media will showcase and demo the library at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, and at StreamTV in Denver, June 16-19.
