“Live sports and event production isn’t about forcing a single technology approach,” said Raj Kotecha, Vislink senior VP, global sales and support. “What matters is having proven options across RF and 5G, and the flexibility to choose the right setup for each event.”
A focal point is MeshConnect, Vislink’s Layer 2 MANET networking technology for low‑latency IP connectivity across production areas, supporting camera control, shading, tally and return video over a resilient wireless network to reduce dependence on fixed infrastructure.
Private 5G will be demonstrated through a collaboration with Grass Valley, with integrated camera workflows at both companies’ booths to show how dedicated networks can deliver consistent, low‑latency production with full camera control and remote capabilities.
Vislink is introducing DragonFly, a compact dual‑modem 5G transmitter that supports two simultaneous cellular connections to improve resilience for mobile and miniature camera use cases, including POV, gimbal, UAV and fixed‑position cameras. On the RF side, the company will show its CLIQ transmitter integrated with Motion Impossible’s Agito dolly system, pairing stabilized cinematic movement with broadcast‑grade wireless transmission.
Across demos, Vislink is stressing a modular approach that integrates with third‑party cameras, control systems and IP workflows, enabling builds tailored to event requirements using RF, 5G or a hybrid of both.
Demonstrations will be at Vislink’s Booth C2523 and at partner locations, including Grass Valley.
