The company, a provider of cloud-native playout solutions, will meet with customers in the IABM Lounge (N257) and showcase Vipe in collaboration with Synamedia at Booth W2851.
As broadcasters navigate shifting economics and potential infrastructure disruption, BCNEXXT is helping operators rethink how playout and distribution are built and operated. The Vipe platform allows for elastic scaling based on channel requirements and uses a cloud-native architecture to remove geographic constraints and reduce operational costs.
BCNEXXT will also explore how broadcasters can use potential changes to the upper C-band spectrum — currently under FCC exploration — to modernize their distribution. The company said moving toward IP-based distribution architectures can deliver lower costs, greater flexibility through distributed playout and new monetization opportunities via regionalization and targeted advertising.
“Vipe enables this shift by aligning agile infrastructure with real demand, transforming playout into a driver of monetization,” the company said.
On the topic of HDR, BCNEXXT plans to discuss a pragmatic approach to implementation, particularly for live sports, where it delivers clear value. The company’s strategy focuses on aligning workflows with real-world production needs and maintaining consistency across live and file-based content without adding unnecessary processing complexity.
NAB attendees can meet with BCNEXXT in the IABM Lounge or see Vipe in action at the Synamedia stand. Meetings can be scheduled here.
