The technology will be demonstrated at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, in Booth W2051. The new infrastructure embeds AI across every layer of the platform, connecting four components into a single system: real-device execution (Witbox), AI-driven automation (Agentic SDK), operational control (REC), and intelligent analysis (Smartgate).
At the foundation is a global network of thousands of Witbox robots deployed across ISPs, telcos, and streaming platforms. The Agentic SDK, introduced in February, allows teams to generate and execute tests using natural language, hybrid workflows, or code-based customization.
“AI is not improving testing workflows — it is replacing how they work,” Mathieu Planche, Witbe CEO, said. “Teams no longer need to write and maintain scripts. They define what they want to validate, and the system executes it across real devices. This is a fundamental shift in how streaming services are tested and monitored.”
Through the Remote Eye Controller (REC), which serves as a virtual network operations center, teams can interact with the testing infrastructure using natural language to trigger tests across hundreds of devices or launch ad-hoc validations without scripting.
The system’s analysis layer, Smartgate, is designed to identify and prioritize issues proactively. It automatically categorizes problems, compares failed and successful executions to find root causes, and detects quality degradation across different regions and ISPs.
