Legislators to hold electronics recycling event near Hazleton
HAZLETON – If you have computers, smartphones, or other electronics to get rid of, two state legislators are hosting a recycling event soon.
State Rep. Dane Watro (R-Schuylkill/Luzerne) and Senator Dave Argall (R-Schuylkill) are hosting an electronics recycling event on Saturday, March 21 in the lower parking lot of the Regal Cinema at the Laurel Mall in Hazle Township.
The event will take place from 10am to 1pm.
Mamoth Recycling is handling the recycling.
Many electronics will be recycled at no cost, including computers, smartphones, tablets, phones, gaming consoles, modems and routers, cameras, DVD players, VCRs, and more.
There will be a fee for some other items, like TV’s and monitors, air conditioners, printers, and workout equipment.
Cash or credit card payments will be accepted the day of the event.
