DigitalGlue Updates Creative.space Platform With Integrated Review, Remote Access

DigitalGlue, developer of the Creative.space platform, has released Creative.space OS 3.0.5, a software update designed to consolidate media workflows by integrating video review, archiving and remote access into a single storage environment.

The update aims to reduce the complexity of modern production by minimizing the need for third-party tools. The new operating system version allows creative teams in broadcast, entertainment and enterprise sectors to manage assets and collaborate more efficiently from any location.

“Creative.space OS 3.0.5 is focused on reducing friction across the entire workflow,” said Tim Anderson, DigitalGlue CEO-CTO. “By bringing review, archiving, ingest and remote access directly into Creative.space Storage, teams gain a faster, more secure and more intuitive way to work without juggling disconnected tools.”

Integrated Review & Asset Management

A central feature of the release is Creative.space Review, a built-in video review and approval tool. The system allows teams to conduct threaded conversations, jump to specific timecodes and search within review threads. Approved markers and feedback can be exported directly to Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to speed up the editing process.

The update also introduces Multi-Space Tagging and Libraries, enabling teams to organize content across multiple projects and storage locations. Global tags and sections help prevent asset duplication while making content easier to find via color-coded metadata.

Enhanced Archiving & Camera-to-Cloud

Creative.space OS 3.0.5 adds integrated archiving support for Archiware P5 and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). A dedicated tab allows users to browse cloud archive indexes and initiate restores directly from the main interface.

A new built-in Amazon S3 gateway lets the platform act as an S3-compatible endpoint. This allows for direct camera-to-storage ingest, including RED camera workflows. First previewed at NAB Show 2025, the “camera-to-Creative.space” feature automatically ingests footage from cameras to centralized storage, bypassing the delays often associated with traditional cloud transfers.

Remote Access & Security

For remote teams, the update introduces remote desktop access based on WireGuard technology. DigitalGlue says the new protocol delivers speeds up to four times faster than previous ZeroTier VPN configurations.

The system also supports secure browser-based access without requiring a desktop installation. Security features include a tunneled reverse proxy architecture to eliminate exposed ports, multi-factor authentication and granular role-based permissions.

Other enhancements in version 3.0.5 include:

  • Support for additional Blackmagic HyperDeck models.
  • Thumbnail creation for InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
  • Improved search filtering and performance.
  • An enriched notification system to reduce duplicate messages.
  • Expanded backend metadata extraction and API rate limiting.

Creative.space OS 3.0.5 is available now as part of the Creative.space Storage offering within the Creative.space Platform.
