Williams began his career in radio, holding programming and on-air roles at leading stations in Australia and New Zealand. His talent and leadership earned multiple industry accolades and helped deliver continuous No. 1 ratings at Sydney’s 2Day FM, establishing him as one of the region’s most respected broadcasters.
In 2001, he joined RCS as general manager of RCS Australia, later advancing to managing director (2006), vice president Asia Pacific (2013), and ultimately senior vice president (2023). Over 25 years, Williams played a pivotal role in expanding RCS’s presence across Asia Pacific and driving innovations that transformed the industry.
Among his many achievements, Keith pioneered Musicpoint, an internet-based music delivery service for radio, and introduced AirCheck (now RCS Media Monitors) to Australia.
Philippe Generali, RCS president-CEO, said: “Keith has always been a go-getter—a world of personality combined with relentless work ethic. He brought energy and creativity to every conversation, and his ability to close deals while driving innovation set a benchmark for all of us. Keith didn’t just sell products; he sold ideas and possibilities. His passion for radio and technology helped RCS lead the way in Asia Pacific. We will miss his drive and his unique spark, but we celebrate everything he accomplished over these incredible 25 years.”
