Dropzone AI targets international growth with double hire

Dropzone AI has announced the expansion of its international leadership team. It has appointed Brett Candon as VP International to lead the expansion across EMEA and APAC. In addition to Candon, Dropzone AI also appointed Dan Bridges as Technical Director, International. The duo worked together at Cyware and helped launch its international business.

They will aim to help the leading provider of AI SOC Analysts expand worldwide. Candon will report to Chief Revenue Officer Amit Patel. Patel was previously CRO at Cyware and is reuniting a familiar leadership team.

They will be building on the success that Dropzone AI has already achieved over the last year. In 2025, it achieved 11x ARR growth and secured a $37M Series B funding round led by Theory Ventures. The firm already has over 300 enterprises using its AI SOC analysts.

Candon and Bridges will work together to expand the footprint across EMEA and APAC. Dropzone AI already has a growing customer base in both regions, including Assala Energy, Awin, Infoguard, and Bolttech. Assala Energy solved the challenge of finding security experts by turning to Dropzone AI.

Kevin Turnbull, Global IT Director at Assala Energy, commented, “When I discovered Dropzone’s AI SOC analyst, it immediately struck me as a game-changer that could provide my SOC with a decisive edge. Simply adding more people to the team is not a scalable solution; using augmented AI to enhance your team’s capabilities is the way forward.”

Assala saw similar benefits to those highlighted in a recent Cloud Security Alliance benchmark study (148 participants). That study found that AI analysts demonstrated 22-29% better investigation accuracy and 45-61% faster completion times compared to manual analysis.

Who is Brett Candon

Candon brings over 20 years of cybersecurity go-to-market sales leadership. He was previously Vice President International at Cyware. At Cyware, he helped launch the International business as part of the startup’s global expansion strategy.

Before Cyware, he held sales leadership positions, primarily helping build and support channel ecosystems for vendors such as Mimecast, Exabeam, Imperva, Check Point, Websense, and RSA.

Brett Candon, Vice President, International at Dropzone AI, commented, “Alert fatigue and analyst burnout are universal problems, and EMEA and APAC security teams face the same pressure to scale operations without scaling headcount. Dropzone’s AI SOC analyst solves this by autonomously handling Tier 1 investigations with full transparency into its reasoning.

“That’s what makes this different from previous automation approaches. Security teams get machine speed with analyst-level context, so they can make faster decisions and focus on higher-value work.”

Who is Dan Bridges

Bridges has over 30 years of cybersecurity experience. In his new role, he will lead Dropzone AI’s technical go-to-market initiatives across international markets. He also held leadership positions at both Exabeam and Cyware, working alongside Candon.

Bridges also spent six years at HPE, eventually leading the EMA Head of Security Solutioning. He has both sales and technology experience working at several companies, including Pentura, Diagonal Secure Networks amd LanOptics.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

This is a sales leadership team with experience working together. They aim to expand the use of the Dropzone AI platform. The platform integrates with existing enterprise security tools and can conduct end-to-end investigations in minutes without requiring playbooks, code, or prompts. Each AI SOC analyst is hosted in a dedicated instance per client and is fully compliant with GDPR, NIS2, and the EU AI Act.

The two latest hires joined in November 2025 and should be hitting the ground running in 2026. Patel only joined a month before Cnadon and Bridges, and it will be interesting to see what they achieve over the coming months.
