Othentic.xyz is the online home of Othentic Labs, an R&D company developing the Othentic Stack, a framework for building decentralized and distributed services. According to its documentation, Othentic Stack is designed to help developers launch customized off-chain networks that can execute and verify computational tasks over distributed nodes called Operators. The framework integrates governance on Ethereum (Layer 1) and task verification across Layer 2 environments to balance scalability, cost efficiency, and security. In April 2024, Metaverse Post reported that Othentic Labs raised $4M in funding led by Breyer Capital to advance the development of modular networks in a shared security environment.¹

Supporting verifiable AI through decentralized agent frameworks

According to Othentic’s developer documentation, one of the primary goals of the Othentic Stack is to support specialized execution logic for distributed AI applications. The framework enables the creation of decentralized AI agent systems, such as agent authorization networks and verifiable inference services. These systems are designed to allow agents to act autonomously while maintaining cryptographic verification of their actions and outputs. Othentic also outlines use cases for verifiable inference, agent task validation, and agent oracles—each enabling AI agents to produce, verify, and attest to results in a transparent and trust-minimized environment. This combination of blockchain-based validation and AI interoperability positions Othentic as part of the emerging field of decentralized AI infrastructure.

Experienced founders leading innovation in distributed computing

As shared on LinkedIn, Othentic Labs was co-founded in 2023 by Yarden Shechter and Dean Rubin in the Tel Aviv District of Israel. Yarden Shechter serves as CEO and has experience as a former Principal at IN Venture, an early-stage deep-tech venture capital firm, and contributor to Aleph. Dean Rubin serves as CTO, bringing a background in smart contract development and software engineering. Before co-founding Othentic Labs, Dean worked as R&D Group Manager at AccessFintech and founded DataOnix, a consulting firm focused on smart contract development.
