By rssfeeds-admin A man was sentenced Tuesday to over 27 years(326 months) in connection with the murder of Victoria Gamble, of Sauk Rapids, in August of 2024.
Christopher Neal, 46, entered a Norgaard plea to one count of second-degree murder on Nov. 19. He was given credit for 465 days already served.

A Norgaard plea is typically used when a defendant claims not to remember committing the crime.
Gamble, 38, was found dead in her apartment in August 2024. An autopsy showed she had been strangled.
Investigators say that Neal and Gamble met at a bar and went to Gamble’s apartment, where Neal strangled her. He was later arrested with Gamble’s vehicle in Louisiana.
He admitted to being in Gamble’s apartment but had “limited memory” of what happened, according to court documents.
