Fridley Public Schools employee under investigation

An investigation into a Fridley Public Schools employee is underway, the district confirmed on Wednesday.

A spokesperson told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that the district is cooperating with the investigation, but could not provide further details.

Fridley Public Schools released the following statement on Wednesday:

Fridley Public Schools is aware of an ongoing investigation involving one of our employees. We take this situation very seriously and are cooperating fully with law enforcement.

All allegations have been reported to the appropriate authorities. Due to the active nature of the investigation and because this is a personnel matter, we are unable to provide further details at this time.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. We will continue to adhere to all legal requirements and district policies throughout this process.
