The vehicle continued into Mammoth Spring where a traffic stop was made and Reed was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.
On the ride back to the jail in Salem, Reed made threats to kill the deputy and his family, in particular, by shooting the deputy in the head with a shotgun. She also said she knows where the deputy lives and she would slice the tires on the deputy’s personal vehicle. Also while en route, Reed spat on the deputy multiple times through the gap in the partition in the patrol car.
Reed is facing felony charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threatening along with misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and not wearing a seatbelt. She is free after posting $10,000 bond.
