Dugout sports bar and grill hosted the event with their car show participants. They collected close to 500 toys this year, and a trunk full of food donations. The money collected will go to the places that collect the toys.
“I mean the toys, we’ve got several SUV’s that are completely full, a van over there that’s partially full, and a trunk load of food, so it was a great day,” Volunteer Gary McArdle says, “and all these toys that we collected today, the food, the money, will go to the kids here in Topeka only, so that we can take care of our own people.”
Everything from toys, food, and cash donations is accepted.
