Man arrested for fire at girlfriend’s Vicksburg home

VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – Vicksburg police announced a man was arrested after a fire at his girlfriend’s home.

The incident occurred in the 1400 block of High Street on November 1, 2025.

According to police, Steven Bailey, Jr., 26, was in an earlier domestic dispute with his girlfriend who lived at the home. No one was injured during the fire, and firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.

Bailey was arrested and charged with arson. During his court appearance on November 3, 2025, Bailey received a $25,000 bond.
