COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Strong high pressure keeping us dry and warm each afternoon through the weekend ahead of a strong cold front. The front will enter the region and bring showers and a few storms early Saturday and even the afternoon.
Readings will will rise into the upper 70s and yes, we will see a few 80° temperatures. This is all driven ahead of the cold front entering the region all weekend until it exits late Sunday.
Next Week Frost: There will be widespread frost Tuesday morning and this is the first of the season. The last big frost event was February 21st and 22nd of this year. This will be a good time to protect all sensitive plants.
Lows will sit in the 20s on Tuesday and will struggle to get out of the 50s for the start of the week.
