Columbus police arrest second suspect allegedly connected to shooting that killed Jabreia Burston
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Columbus police announced on Tuesday that a second suspect was taken into cusody for the alleged connection in the shooting death of Jabreia Burston.

31-year-old Keshon Corbin was taken into custody on Tuesday by members of the Fugitive Unit.

Initially, on Oct. 24, 22-year-old Marques Lattimore was taken into custody after being accused of Burston’s death.

Lattimore was charged with murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

On Aug. 28, officers located Burston injured in the parking lot at the Grove Park Apartments after reports of a shooting.

Burston sustained the injuries from a gunshot and was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional, where she later died the next day.

Lattimore appeared in Recorder’s Court on Oct. 25, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Corbin is scheduled to appear in Recorder’s Court on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
