President Trump endorses Gov. Sanders for re-election

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — President Donald J. Trump has officially endorsed Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in her bid for re-election in Arkansas.

“Thank you, President Trump! It’s an honor to have your endorsement, and Arkansas stands with you in the fight to Make America Great Again,” Governor Sanders said in a news release following the announcement.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump praised Sanders’ record both as White House Press Secretary and as Arkansas’ governor.

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders is doing an incredible job as Governor of Arkansas, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” Trump said.

He also cited Sanders’ initiatives related to the economy, agriculture, taxation and regulations, energy policy, border security, law enforcement, military and veterans’ affairs and gun rights.

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — SHE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!” Trump said at the end of the post.

The Sarah for Governor re-election campaign reported $5.5 million in cash on hand and more than $1 million raised in the third quarter of 2025.

Governor Sanders was elected in 2023.
