After opening its first location 22 years ago in the Mission District, the San Francisco (and Bay Area) coffee staple is now opening its first drive-thru in the Bay Area. Philz Coffee’s newest cafe and drive-thru will be in Pleasanton, the business announced in a press release. It will be the first drive-thru in all of Northern California and Philz’s 79th location overall.
Philz Coffee will have its grand opening on Wednesday at 1803 Santa Rita Road, with hours from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The soft opening was from Monday to Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hours for the Pleasanton location are 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Philz said this cafe can seat up to 35 guests. Images of the drive-thru can be viewed below.
