Pedestrian dies after crash in Travis Co. Saturday morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A pedestrian died after a crash involving one vehicle before sunrise on Saturday near Ranch to Market Road 620 and Aria Drive. That’s between the cities of Bee Cave and Lakeway.

The Bee Cave Police Department said on social media on Saturday morning that the pedestrian was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition. The post was updated later to share that the pedestrian had died.

The department also said that the driver of the vehicle involved and witnesses provided statements to the police about what occurred.

At the time of the crash, all lanes on RM 620 near Aria Driv were closed; however, as of Saturday evening, all lanes have been reopened.
