More than 1,300 girls from Minnesota are celebrating the end of an eight-week season in the Girls on the Run 5k.
The 5 K is an event for girls in the third through eighth grade who have trained for the 5 K run throughout the year, while participating in a two-month social-emotional learning curriculum.
The 5k is set to take place on Sunday, November 9, at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
