Coash’s hat trick leads Topeka Scarecrows to Halloween win over Indiana

TOPEKA (KSNT)- It was a spooky night for the Topeka Scarecrows at home.

Topeka improved to 4-3 on the season with a 4-2 victory over the Indiana Sentinels.

Scott Coash was the hat trick hero for the Scarecrows, netting two goals in the first period followed by his third only minutes into the second.

It was his first hat trick of his career.

Jacob Gagnon provided the other score off a power play in the second period.

Daniil Bryzgalov got his first win in net for the Scarecrows, blocking 25 of 27 shots for the win.

The Scarecrows are back in action Saturday night for game two with Indiana. Puck drop set for 7:05 for Military Appreciation night.
