Ramp, lane closures this weekend for Clear Path 465 construction
INDIANAPOLIS – Drivers will encounter some ramp closures this weekend as part of the Clear Path 465 project.

Crews are shifting traffic on the ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465 to do additional work. As a result, some significant restrictions will be in place starting Friday night.

Here’s what to expect:

Friday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 3 at 6 a.m.

  • Ramp from 82nd Street to southbound I-465 closed

Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • Ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465 closed

Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2 (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

  • Ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465, single lane closed

The Indiana Department of Transportation said the restrictions will give crews room to operate safely.

INDOT said to expect “significant delays” and urged drivers to give themselves extra time and consider alternate routes.

The construction schedule depends on the weather and could shift based on the conditions outside.

The Safe Zone speed control program remains in effect for the Clear Path construction zone. Speed cameras are monitoring vehicles moving through the area and capturing license plate numbers.

Drivers caught going more than 11 mph over the posted speed limit will first receive a warning. The second infraction results in a $75 ticket and subsequent violations result in $150 fines.
