H-E-B's second Lubbock store plans moving forward, records show
Nearly two years after the first store’s opening at 114th Street and Quaker Avenue, EverythingLubbock.com reported in 2020
Back in March of 2025, EverythingLubbock.com reported Yate’s Flooring, located on the land purchased by H-E-B, had plans to move to South Lubbock. We reported this would potentially make room for a second location. H-E-B at the time said it did not have any plans to share.
When H-E-B opened its first location in the Hub City, the store called it’s move to Lubbock the company’s “worst kept secret.”
EverythingLubbock.com reached out to H-E-B for a statement regarding the site plan review. An update will be provided if necessary.
