Family looking for missing Pilsen man with dementia

CHICAGO — Family is asking the public’s help to find a missing 77-year-old Pilsen man with dementia.

Arturo Hernandez was last seen going to a doctor’s appointment at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday near his home at 16th and Des Plaines in Pilsen.

He was headed to Alivio Medical Center, located in the 900 block of West 21st Street, but never made it.

Family told WGN News Hernandez is “super funny” and has lived in Pilsen “forever.”

He was last seen wearing navy pants, a gray hat and a black jacket. The following picture was taken Thursday before he went missing.

A police report has been filed and family hopes someone sees Hernandez soon.

Anyone who sees him can call 911.
