New restaurant, Hazel’s Public House, to open in downtown Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Officials with Allsopp & Chapple announced plans for a new restaurant set to open in downtown Little Rock in early 2026.

The restaurant is Hazel’s Public House, officials said.

Co-owners Eric Carter and Jay Cowley said the new concept will focus on simple ingredients and quality flavors, featuring burgers on house-baked brioche buns and an elevated take on classic comfort food.

According to a spokesperson, the menu will also include fresh salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and in-house baked pies, officials said. The restaurant’s full bar will highlight craft cocktails, local beers, and daily happy hour specials.

Hazel’s Public House aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all occasions, from casual lunches to late-night gatherings, Carter said.

Updates and menu previews will be shared on social media and at HazelsPublicHouse.com as the opening date approaches, officials said.
