Listeria concerns prompt Trader Joe's to recall yellow peaches sold in CA, nationwide
(KRON) — Trader Joe’s is warning customers about a product that was sold in several states, including California, due to possible listeria contamination.

Trader Joe’s says it is recalling Moonlight Yellow Peaches sold in two-pound bags and individually “out of an abundance of caution.” They were shipped to nationwide stores between Sept. 24 and Oct. 28.

“This recall is being conducted because Listeria monocytogenes was identified in the packing facility environment,” said Trader Joe’s in an email to customers Thursday. “No illnesses related to these Moonlight peaches have been reported.”

According to Trader Joe’s, the peaches were sold only in locations in: AZCACTDCDEMAMDMENCNHNJNMNVNYOHPARISCUTVAVT.

Anyone who bought the product during the date range above is urged to throw them away or return them to their nearest Trader Joe’s for a refund.
