Missing Endangered Alert issued for Huntersville man last seen leaving the hospital in an Uber: Police

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for a 58-year-old Huntersville man, according to the NC Center for Missing Persons.

Officials said Lamar Woodard may be suffering from a cognitive impairment, and they’re asking the public to help locate him.

According to Huntersville Police, Woodard was last seen at Novant Health Huntersville, located at 10030 Gilead Road, before leaving the area in an Uber traveling toward Charlotte.

Woodard is described as 5’5” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with short black and gray hair and brown eyes. His clothing at the time he went missing is unknown, authorities said.

Anyone with information about Woodard’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer T. Nickerson with the Huntersville Police Department at 704-464-5400. Authorities are asking residents in both the Huntersville and Charlotte areas to stay alert and report any possible sightings.
