Leesville man arrested on felony charge of juvenile molestation

LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) — The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announced two recent arrests, including one on a felony charge of molestation of a juvenile, according to Sheriff Sam Craft.

On Oct. 25, deputies arrested Johnny Ferris, 39, of Leesville, on two outstanding bench warrants. Bond was denied, and Ferris remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.

On Oct. 27, Jaxson Kingsbury, 24, also of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of molestation of a juvenile. His bond was set at $400,000, and he remains in custody at the Vernon Parish Jail.

Both cases remain under investigation by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office.
