UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — As construction continues on Pioneer Crossing, travelers should expect changes to the traffic pattern.
Crews with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be working overnight doing storm drain and utility work on the north side of the road on Pioneer Crossing.
As a result, all westbound lanes will be shifted south between Mill Pond Road and 500 West, through the end of the year.

UDOT also advised that the speed limit in the work zone is 40 mph.
“Please follow the speed limit and pay attention when traveling through,” UDOT said on social media.
Pioneer Crossing is not the only area in Utah County to be under construction. UDOT is also actively working on Mountain View Corridor and are constructing four miles of freeway between Utah and Salt Lake counties.
The construction in the northwest Utah County is expected to last through spring 2026, with daily work on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Further south, crews are working on installing a new I-15 interchange at 1600 S and 2700 N in Spanish Fork. Additionally, they are widening the road from Main Street in Spanish Fork to the United Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Tintic Line in Springville.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, crews will be working in this area. It is expected that the project will be completed by summer 2026.
