Dynaudio Introduces Control Series Of Studio Monitor Controllers

Dynaudio, a global provider of high-end professional and consumer audio solutions, has launched its new Control series: a suite of next-generation audio tools engineered to serve as the central monitor controller of any modern studio. The series includes the Control 01 and Control 02 digital audio processors, alongside the tactile Control Link remote — delivering monitoring, routing and format flexibility in a streamlined, expandable system.
 
Whether you’re producing a demo, mixing a feature film, or outfitting a mobile truck, the Dynaudio Control Series offers connectivity, customization and performance — all built on technology by DAD (Digital Audio Denmark) and Dynaudio’s heritage of precision sound. Housed in a single rack space, Control 01 and Control 02 combine the roles of monitor controller, digital patch-bay, format converter, DA converter (only on Control 02), headphone amp, room EQ optimiser and audio router.

Dynaudio says the Control series doesn’t compromise on connectivity. With Dante, Thunderbolt, dual MADI, AES3, Control 01 and 02 deliver up to 984 configurable I/O channels in the maximum configuration and near-zero latency — including 256 channels each via Dante and Thunderbolt interfaces. Control 02 adds even more, with eight channels of high-quality analogue outputs for direct integration with Dynaudio LYD and BM monitors and other analog speakers.

The system is driven by DAD’s DADman software with PRO|MON and SPQ, enabling up to 128 immersive channels, each with independent EQ, delay, and gain control — delivering full compatibility with Dolby Atmos and other spatial audio formats.

The Control Link hardware controller “is the perfect complement to the Control series,” according to Dynaudio. “With 40 programmable buttons and a precision volume dial, it offers instant recall of presets, speaker switching, downmix options and input routing — bringing tactile control to even the most complex sessions.

With modular expansion slots, professionals can tailor their system with additional mic preamps, analog outputs or digital I/O as needed. The two independent headphone amps on the front panel round out a comprehensive solution.

The Control series is now available for order through authorized Dynaudio Professional resellers worldwide. Shipping will begin by the end of 2025.
