Suspicious package delivered to Metairie business, JPSO deputies on scene

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is on the scene investigating a suspicious package in Metairie.

The incident was called in around 9:30 a.m. reporting the suspicious package delivered to the Armed Forces Recruiting Office on Clearview Parkway.

Details are limited at this time but deputies have closed off traffic in the area and evacuated the building.
