Wednesday Weather: Sunny & Pleasant
Wednesday temperatures: Recently, it’s be very rare to see temperatures below normal levels. We will experience that rarity on Tuesday night as temperatures will fall into the 40s and lower 50s. Thanks to plenty of sunshine, it will warm up dramatically again on Wednesday with high temperatures returning to the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Several days of dry weather: Futurecast shows the impact of the dry air. We will see a clear sky over the area on Tuesday night and a mostly sunny sky on Wednesday. The clear sky will linger through Wednesday night with more chilly temperatures. Expect a few clouds to begin mixing in with the sunshine on Thursday. By then, we will start to focus on the disturbance that will bring our next best chance of rain.
Long-range outlook: It still appears as if we will have a slow-moving upper-level disturbance bring showers and a few thunderstorms to the ArkLaTex this weekend. The rain will be heaviest and most widespread on Saturday and will begin to become more scattered on Sunday. Severe weather is still looking unlikely, and it still appears that we will see several inches of rain.
Ahead of the weekend disturbance, overnight lows will begin to warm up and should return to the 60s. Daytime highs will stay slightly above normal in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Once the chance of rain ends by next Tuesday, we will start to see much cooler air move into the ArkLaTex. Lows late next week will fall into the 40s. Daytime highs will only climb into the 60s and lower 70s.
