COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-Today our own Meteorologist Kaylee Barbee spent some time with students at Clubview Elementary in Columbus, Ga.
She spoke to both 1st and 5th grade students throughout the day. 1st graders learned what a meteorologist does every day and took a look at some tools they use. 5th graders got a more in depth look at what education they would need and other types of meteorology careers.
Plus, the students also took a look at common weather events they might see. They told Kaylee how they plan to stay safe during severe weather.
