The family shared that Chanelle was funny, brave, and loyal. She had so much ahead of her, and they are heartbroken by the loss.

“She had so many dreams ahead of her. She talked about her future with excitement and hope, imagining all the things she wanted to do and become,” the family shared.

The family says that Chanelle’s death is a result of domestic violence. They hope that Chanelle’s story helps bring awareness and protection to others. The family said that domestic violence is something that no child, no family, should ever have to endure.

A GoFundMe has been put together where people can donate to help with funeral and memorial expenses and for therapy and healing support for those closest to Chanelle.

Support for victims and survivors of domestic violence is available 24/7: 1-800-897-LINK (5465). If you or someone else is in immediate danger or an emergency, please call 911 immediately.
