SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Volunteers for Youth Justice will host its annual Haunt the Harbor event on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at The Harbor, 3004 Knight Street, Building 6 in Shreveport.
The free community event will offer a trunk-or-treat, games, activities for children, and complimentary food in a safe, family-friendly setting. Costumes are welcome.
“Haunt the Harbor reflects our commitment to building a community where children and families feel supported and safe,” said Alex Person, VYJ’s director of community engagement, in a news release.
Local partners, including Rice & Kendig Injury Attorneys, Wieland Construction, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, and Community Bank of Louisiana, support the event.
