Teen driver causes serious injuries in Rock County crash

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WTVO) — Four people were injured in a crash on Highway 51 in Rock County Friday night after a 17-year-old driver from Beloit crossed the center line.

The crash occurred near West Terrington Drive, just north of Blackhawk Technical College, when the teenager’s vehicle collided with a Kia driven by a 42-year-old from Janesville.

The driver of the Kia sustained serious injuries, while three other individuals were also hurt in the incident.

Highway 51 was shut down for over an hour following the crash but has since reopened.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
