One person died Saturday after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision on Highway 23 in Benton County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:03 p.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on the highway and a southbound Ram 1500 collided head-on with one another.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 64-year-old Edward Leroy Hindermann of St. Cloud, was killed as a result of the crash, the State Patrol said.
Inside the Ram, the 17-year-old female driver and her 18-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
