Topeka is the last stop in the 2025 National Tour, and racers between the ages of five and sixteen will be eyeing for the checkered flag. With more than 250 drivers signed up for the races, and championships at stake, two racers tell 27 News what they’re most looking forward to this weekend.
“I’ve been all around the country, and we’re sitting top 10 in points,” said 13-year-old racer Madden Thulin. “This is my home track so I’m just really excited to get a big race here.”
“My dad races, and I wanted to race,” said 5-year-old racer Brinnley Bowers. “There’s going to be a lot of people and also I have my best friends here to cover me up.”
Races will take place on Friday and Saturday, and they’re free to watch.
