In a Friday announcement, Fairfax County police said officers arrested Nelson Robles, 22, of Fair Oaks, in connection with the offense.
According to police, it all started at around 1:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, when officers responded to the 4700 block of Stonecroft Boulevard after someone reported seeing a man masturbating at a bus stop.
A nearby officer quickly responded to the call and arrested Robles, who reportedly matched the suspect description. Through an investigation, detectives learned that more people had seen Robles masturbating in the area, according to police.
Officers took Robles to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. Authorities charged him with indecent liberties, indecent exposure and obscene sexual display.
Investigators urge anyone with information to call the Fairfax County Police Department’s Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800, option 3. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers by phone at 866-411-8477 or online.
